Calliope Wholesale Feeds and Supplies began as a local provider for
rodeos and bucking stock. Since then, we’ve grown into a trusted broker and distributor
of premium hay and feed, proudly representing top-tier farms across Oregon,
Washington, and Nevada. Our reach spans retail stores and individual customers
throughout Southern California, with a strong focus on horse trainers in Polo, Hunter
Jumper, Dressage disciplines, and boarding stables.

My father was a working cowboy on a cow-calf ranch for many years of my childhood.
I came into the feed business honestly to help a chamber of commerce put on a community rodeo.
The committee needed help organizing and finding supplies. From there, I was invited by a farmer to come to work selling their Oregon Hay to California feed stores.I am a horse owner and enthusiast with 5 Tennessee Walking horses so I am aware of the needs to feed our horses good quality hay and find farms that are tasked with quality control and producing excellent hay.It is a up and down business for farms.
Opened business in 2007 as a local feed supplier based on local rodeos needing feed for bucking stock.
we know and understand not every horse can eat any type of Hay. Sugars starches proteins and levels of digestibility are important to understand depending on the Breed, discipline, exercise, travel, showing or just layup so when you are looking for feed that works best with your horses we do our best to fill that order
Calliope Wholesale Feeds and Supplies is a Broker. Finding hay and feed direct ship from the farms to the customer barn and stable or training facility. Specializing in Timothy, Orchard, Alfalfa, Bermuda , Teff, and Blends and mixes. Hay haulers provide delivery of bulk orders and off loading at the barn with hired squeeze service.
